About Evette Rawls
Evette Rawls, founder of Teacher Coach Series, is a nationally recognized expert in adolescent literacy, inclusive classrooms, Common Core State Standards and integrating technology in the 21st century classroom. Evette began her career in education as a middle school teacher in North Carolina close to 20 years ago. Currently, Evette's work brings her to schools and classrooms all over the United States, where she shares proven, practical models and strategies that develop the literacy skills of all students. Evette has published several books that support teaching and learning strategies that engage all learners in reading and writing.
Evette's commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She founded the non-profit organization, Life Tools Movement, to promote urban youth ministries, effective educational strategies for parents, and unity within the community. She frequently presents at educational trainings, meetings, retreats, workshops, and other events that empower parents, educators, youth groups, and women groups. Evette develops practical strategies for students through books and tutoring program that focus on reading comprehension. Evette also offers a scholarship pageant for young girls, as an outreach ministry to help promote self-esteem, self-confidence, and academic achievement. With a Bachelor's Degree in History, a minor in Political Science, two Master of Arts Degrees in Human Resource Development and a concentration in Organizational Behavior and another in Curriculum and Instruction, currently she is pursuing her, Ed.D, doctoral degree in Education. Evette has a heart for restoring family relationships, and providing inspiration. Above all of her accomplishments, she considers supporting educators and raising God-fearing children, her primary purpose and greatest accomplishments. As a single mother of three, she firmly believes the best way to raise children is to be an active role model who demonstrates all of her actions out of love. Evette's mission is to empower, equip, and educate people through her books, trainings, speaking engagements, and other outreach ministry endeavors. |
